For those of you in the San Gabriel Area of Southern California I have a list of places for help that I would like to share with you.
COVINA ASSEMBLY OF GOD: 250 E San Bernardino Rd, Covina, CA Available Tuesday thru Friday from 2-4pm, Picture ID required. They will give you emergency food once every 30 days. They also have a great Christmas program for the whole family with toy and food.
COVINA EMERGENCY AID: 534 N. Barranca Street, Covina, CA Available Monday, Wednesday and thursday 10am-2pm Picture Id required with rent verification and income verification. They have emergency food available twice a year, they also offer help during the holidays with food boxes and toys.
CORY'S KITCHEN-FAITH COMMUNITY CHURCH: 1418 Arrow Highway, Irwindale, CA they offer food every Tuesday 6.30-8pm once every 30 days unless your on SSI, SSD then you can come more times(check on this with the economy and the rise in people they help it may have changed).
GLENKIRK CHURCH FOOD PANTRY: 657 E Arrow Highway, Ste 1 & 3, Glendora, CA Available to families in need in Glendora and Neighboring communities Open Wednesday between 5-6.30
OUR LADY OF GUADALUPE:16025 E Cypress Street, Irwindale, Ca. Available Mon and Wednesday 6-7pm must live within the boundaries of church-Gladstone Ave, Azusa Canyon Rd, San Bernardino Rd & Hollenbeck/Cerritos ID req. They give food and pay utilities.
ST. FRANCIS OF ROME: 501 E Foothill Azusa, CA Food bank available Monday and Wednesday at 9am and the second Saturday of every month at 9am.

BETA CENTER HUNGER PROGRAM: 1095 N. Grand Ave. Pomona, CA available Monday-Friday 9-11am and 1:30-3pm fro residents of Pomona and surroundng areas(Montclair, Claremont, Chino, Walnut and Diamond Bar) ID Required for each member of the family funds for utilities assistance on first come first serve

FIRST METHODIST CHURCH , EL MONTE, CA: 5957 N Golden West Ave, El Monte, CA Food banks gives out food on the first Saturday of each month 2:45-3:15
BOYS & GIRLS CLUB 2740 Mountain View Road, El Monte, CA Dinner is available nightly from 5-6pm while supplies last.
FIRST CHRISTIAN: 147 W. Palm Ave, Monrovia, ca sack lunch available Monday, Wednesday and Friday from noon-3:30pm. Showers also available
EMERGENCY ASSISTANT CENTER: at Marin de Porres Center located behind St. John Vainney Church at 1345 Turnball Canyon Rd, Hacienda Heights, CA Monday thru Friday 9am thru 1pm offers food, hygiene kits, showers and referrals.
WEST COVINA COMMUNITY SERVICES: 415 S. Glendora Ave Ste F, West Covina, CA Offers long term assistance to the homeless
PROJECT ACHIEVE: 11411 Valley Blvd, El Monte, CA Monday-Friday 8am - 5pm offers street outreach and longterm assistance to the homeless
LOVE INC: 626-858-3300 hours 9am to noon offers referrals for people in need.
STEPPING STONES FOR WOMEN: 626-974-1162 office hours Monday thru Friday 9am to 3 pm, Covina, CA provides shelter, life skill training etc to the homeless, single moms during a two year stay program

DOOR OF HOPE-Tranditinal Housing 669 N Los Robles, Pasadena, CA 696-304-9130 Single moms and married couples.
